Only thing is software costs someone something. On Linux these cameras uses a udev ruleset to load the firmware into the camera.

It seems there is a linuc difference in images taken with Windows driver coming from Atik and Linux drivers: Load a FITS image, slew to solved coordinates, and center the mount on the exact image coordinates in order to get the same desired frame. A ruleset for udev is supplied to deal with this. Imaging Source cameras are also supported using the V4L2 UVC driver but require a small and rather simpler tweak to get them to work.

Cameras lonux the UVC interface camwra all work. It seems linux driver doesn’t turn the amp of or sth like that My camera is Atik L without plus. Posted September 11, edited. Celestron I believe the Skyris cameras should work. Hence I needed to build the latest KStars tag v4. In particular, interpretation of the requirements for UVC compliance appears to have been quite liberal at times and some cameras can require tweaks to get them to work correctly.
