After hanging on the phone with Abit tech sup dude I got the following explanation: You should have the option to turn RAID support on or off, turn it on, then save and exit changes.

Press F6 when prompted to install 3rd party drivers. I assume I need to install intel raid drivers, but how to do it manually having XP installed?

Set up your RAID array. I assume driver sets highes possible based on hardware.
